Growthties was mandated to package a model that caters for multiple small holder farmers to feed into the value chain of the
entire group thereby creating multiple SMMEs and cooperatives, in the primary agriculture and logistics business. Growthties in turn developed an incubation supplier development model that saw multiple SMMEs and cooperatives set up, capacitated and feeding into the AFH value chain. We secured R30mil for the project and assisted with the selection criteria, mentorship and further funding for the SMMEs and cooperatives. We further assisted with reporting and assisted with the draw down claims process from the funders . The project involved engaging with multiple stakeholders, including the beneficiaries. A lot of social facilitation was required to ensure alignment with all parties and reduced a number of implementation challenges.
